August 2017 Newsletter

From the Director’s Office

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!  Although we are sad to see some of our students go on to elementary school, we are excited for them, and we are anxious to begin a new year of learning and exploration with all of our new and continuing students.
This year plans to be a very exciting year.  Our teachers have been busily preparing their classrooms and planning their lessons for your children.  We will kick off the school year on August 14th with a “Making New Friends” theme and getting familiar with new classrooms, routines and rules.  The ABEKA curriculum will begin on August 21st.
Remember, tuition changes on August 14th.  You should have received a letter in your folder about this if you are a current family or in the mail if you are a new or returning family.  Please ask if you are unsure.  Also, supply fees were due on the 1st.
As always, have a great month!  Here’s to another great school year!

St. Jude’s Trike-a-thon
We cannot thank you enough for all of your generosity to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.  With your support we were able to raise $1,705.00! The children had so much fun riding their trikes, bikes, and push-toys. It is such a blessing for the children to learn about helping those in need. Thank you again for all your support.
Box Tops and Campbell Soup Labels for Education
Please consider collecting box tops from everyday household products to give to the Little Lamb. Simply look for the pink box top logo on packaging, cut it out, and place in our bin on the hall counter. What an easy way to raise money for our school!
Campbell Soup Labels for Education is a very similar program that raises money for The Little Lamb.  Simply collect any labels with the Labels for Education logo and place in our bin on the counter.  We appreciate the support this provides to our classrooms and teachers.
