Tracy White, Lead Teacher in Elephant’s Class (3 year olds class)
When did you start working at The Little Lamb Christian School and how long have you been working with children? “I started working at The Little Lamb Christian School August 2016. I have worked with children for over 10 plus years in a variety of settings; homes, school systems, daycares, preschools, and Head Start.
I achieved a Child Development Associates Degree in 2003 and also attended Ivy Teach State College for Early Childhood Education. I also continue my education through early childhood education workshops and webinars.”
Tell us about your family: “My husband, Jeremiah, and I will celebrate ten years of marriage in November. God blessed us with two children, Isaiah age 7 and Abbigail age 6. We moved to the Westfield area five years ago. We enjoy raising our family in this area and have been blessed by a great community. As a family we love going to parks, hiking, swimming and watching movies. On Sundays I serve at our local church in the children ministry where I teach the 4 & 5-year-old class and coordinate set up and tear down in Children ministry area.”
Hobbies: “I love reading, cooking, biking and spending time with my family.”
Favorite Candy: “Twix, Twizzlers”
Favorite Movie: “Gods Not Dead”
Favorite Music: “Christian Worship Music”
Tell us something that most people don’t know about you: “My dad delivered me on the way to the hospital.”
Why do you love to work with young children?: “I have had a passion for young children since an early age. I love watching them grow, meet milestones of development, and grasp new concepts. I want to make a difference in children’s lives.”
What do you enjoy most about working at The Little Lamb Christian School?: “I love the team and family atmosphere, watching the children learn and grow and getting the opportunity to share God’s Love to them daily.”
Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29: 11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
