Children are naturally curious and have a strong desire to learn. We create a preschool environment where the learning and playtime never end. Nurturing curiosity and a love of learning early on in a child’s life will ensure success in school for a lifetime. That’s why our preschool lesson plans focus on learning activities that will engage each child in the subjects of math, language development, science, social studies, music, art and Bible. The A Beka Book preschool curriculum continues to dive into phonics with writing, art, songs and stories. These early reading skills are crucial for laying a strong foundation to learn to read in the coming year. Each day is filled with a variety of activities to encourage language development and literacy, number recognition, reasoning and cognitive development.
Children discover opportunities for academic growth through our eight core preschool learning centers; reading, science, construction, writing, manipulatives, sensory, art, and dramatic play. These learning centers are designed to be a support to the A Beka Book curriculum by providing children with opportunities for problem solving, cognitive thinking, and imaginary play outside of circle time. Preschool is a wonderful place where children can develop socially, physically, and academically.
