A Beka Book Curriculum

The A Beka Book curriculum is an award-winning program that is built on the foundation of academic excellence and Christian character training. A Beka Book has a strong focus on phonics, language development, and reading skills. Science, math, art, social studies and music are all integrated into the daily lessons, as well, beginning in the infant room. We have semi-annual progress reports to keep parents informed about their child’s academic growth and skills. Developmental milestones are met through guided daily skills learned in each specific classroom, weekly themes, and a weekly lesson plan for each age group.

Our school combines academic learning experiences and structured
play in a fun, safe and nurturing environment. We engage children in ways that help them discover, explore and learn to their fullest potential. Our teachers are dedicated to developing lifelong learners. Our teachers have the sensitivity and knowledge to understand a child’s individual developmental needs and learning styles. Teachers and parents forge highly productive partnerships, with numerous opportunities to communicate about a child’s progress and interests.

Our curriculum is divided into developmental stages, where children from six weeks to five years experiment and learn through hands-on activities that build new learning on past experiences, making the most of a child’s skills and individuality.
